This site is best viewed using a 56k modem with your monitor at 800 x 600 resolution, or better, using the latest version of Internet Explorer or Netscape.
Enhancing your internet viewing experience is possible using the guidelines below. Due to configuration differences, this may not be available in all machines.
PC USERS:
If possible the settings within your computer's "Display" control panel should be changed to use "True Color (32 bit)". This will increase the number of colors that your monitor will display from thousands to millions, resulting in cleaner graphic rendering.
Windows98 users will access the "Display" control panel via the "Start" menu at the lower left of your screen. The path you would follow is: "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", "Display" and choose the Settings tab at the top of the "Display" window.
WindowsXP users will access the "Display" control panel via the "Start" menu at the lower left of your screen. The path you would follow is: "Start", "Control Panel", "Appearance and Themes", "Display".
Note: This setting may affect the speed of some games and programs which may not change the screen resolution before beginning game play.
MACINTOSH USERS:
If possible the settings within your computer's "Monitors" (OS9) or "Display" (OSX) control panel should be changed to use "Millions of colors". This will increase the number of colors that your monitor will display from thousands to millions, resulting in cleaner graphic rendering.
OS 9 users will access the "Monitors" control panel via the "Apple Menu" in the upper left corner of your screen. The path you would follow is: "Apple Menu", "Control Panels", "Monitors" (or "Monitors & Sound")
OSX users will access the "Display" control panel via the "Apple Menu" in the upper left corner of your screen. The path you would follow is: "Apple Menu", "System Preferences", "Display"
Note: This setting may affect the speed of some games and programs which may not change the screen resolution before beginning game play.
AOL USERS:
If using America Online, be sure to disable the "Use Compressed Images" feature in the AOL preferences, as this will enhance your entire internet experience.
